Privacy Policy
Effective 4 August 2026 · DURTEQ Inc.
DURTEQ Inc. (“DURTEQ”, “we”, “our” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information when you visit durteq.com or contact us through this website.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what this site needs to function and to respond to you:
- Information you provide directly. When you submit the contact form we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, organization, job title, the inquiry category you select and your message.
- Usage data. If you consent to analytics, we collect pages visited, time on page, referring site, approximate location, device and browser type.
- Technical data. Our hosting and content-delivery providers process your IP address and request metadata in server logs as a necessary part of serving the site securely.
- Approximate location for consent. To decide whether you must be asked to opt in before analytics load, we determine your country from your IP address. See section 5.
We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not ask for sensitive categories of personal data on this website.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry and follow up on a partnership, procurement, commercial or media request.
- To send information you have specifically asked us for.
- To understand site performance and improve our content, where you have consented to analytics.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the website.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Where GDPR applies, our lawful bases are: consent for analytics cookies; legitimate interests for responding to a business inquiry you initiated and for keeping the site secure; and legal obligation where retention or disclosure is required by law.
3. Contact Form and CRM
The contact form on this site submits to AXERP, the enterprise resource planning platform operated by AXINA Group, where it creates a lead record for our team to action. Your submission is transmitted over TLS and is accessible only to authorised DURTEQ and AXINA Group personnel who need it to respond to you.
We use the form rather than publishing an email address, which reduces automated harvesting and spam. If you would prefer not to use the form to exercise a data right, see section 8.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share data only with:
- Service providers acting on our instructions under appropriate data-processing terms — Amazon Web Services (hosting and content delivery), AXINA Group (AXERP CRM), Google (Analytics, only with your consent), and the geolocation providers named in section 5.
- Legal authorities, where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect our rights.
- A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition or reorganisation.
Some of these providers are located in the United States. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Essential storage. We store your cookie choice and your detected consent region in your browser's local storage so we do not have to ask again on every page. This is required for the consent mechanism itself to work and cannot be disabled while you use the site.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site traffic. If you are visiting from the EU, EEA or UK, the analytics script is not loaded at all until you press “Accept All”. If you decline, or close the banner without choosing, analytics never load. Visitors outside those regions receive a notice and may opt out at any time using the same control.
Region detection. To apply the correct rule, this site asks a third-party geolocation service (ipapi.co, falling back to ipwho.is) which country your IP address is in. Only your IP address is sent, no identifiers from your visit, and we store only the resulting region code — not your IP address — in your browser. If the lookup fails we default to the strictest regime and assume consent is required.
You can change your decision at any time with the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of any page, or by clearing your browser's site data.
6. Data Retention
We retain contact-form submissions and the resulting CRM records for as long as needed to pursue or conclude the business relationship you initiated, and thereafter only as required by applicable law. Analytics data is retained according to the Google Analytics retention period configured for our property. Your stored cookie preference persists until you clear it or change it.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS), private origin storage, access controls and least-privilege deployment credentials. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are in California, you may request disclosure of the categories of personal information we collect and request its deletion, and you have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@durteq.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have not resolved your concern, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
9. Third-Party Links
This site links to external websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for their content or data handling.
